QUEER ART EXHIBITION OPENING
6:00 pm | Albert Kersten Mining and Minerals Museum (Geocentre) | Free
Celebrating identity, storytelling, visibility and community, showcasing creative works from LGBTQIA+ artists and supportive allies.
This free exhibition runs until November 6. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

DRAG BINGO

A fun, high-energy drag bingo night packed with laughs, camp chaos, dazzling performances, and unforgettable fun hosted by Shelita Buffet and Amanda Screetly.

QUEER SHORT FILMS

A vibrant LGBTIQA+ short film showcase celebrating queer stories, diverse identities, bold voices, and heartfelt narratives that uplift and connect our community.

DANGLES & DAIQUIRIS

A Fun- filled evening where you’ll get to create 4 pairs of handmade dangle earrings while sipping on a delicious daiquiri. Ticket includes your first daiquiri on arrival.

6:30 pm | Slag Heap Projects
Jess Parker brings her dark and seductive sapphic blues to the Silver City, showcasing her acclaimed queer story telling with special guest Claire Spooner and local support Curtis Nye.

GATHER & GLOW

As the desert sun dips and the sky turns gold, Gather and Glow opens the festival with a warm, vibrant Outback evening. From 6pm, the grounds come alive with live music, dazzling drag, great food and drinks, and the glow of fire buckets under the open sky.
Enjoy a rolling lineup of local talent, fierce kings and queens, and DJs carrying the energy from sunset into starlight. It’s the perfect Friday night — relaxed, colourful, welcoming, and made for connection. A place to gather with friends, meet new faces, and glow exactly as you are.

SHINE BRIGHT
6:00 pm - 2:00 am | The Old Brewery Broken Hill | $59.5 | 18+
Step inside and shine bright as your truest self at our biggest party of the weekend. From 7pm to 2am, the indoor venue becomes a vibrant world of music, colour, and pure queer joy — where everyone’s invited to dress up like the shining star they are.
Enjoy live music, cabaret, and fierce drag every hour, with a DJ keeping the dance floor alive between shows. Strike a pose in the photo booth, glow in your glitter or come exactly as you are. If it makes you shine, it belongs here.
QUEER SINGALONG & DRAG OPEN MIC

Cassy Judy’s singalong meets Choking Hazard’s Brat Race open mic drag and cabaret, creating a wild, joyful afternoon celebrating queer performance and community.

Ease into the final day of Rainbow in the Outback at our Sunday Recovery Market — a relaxed, family‑friendly space to unwind after a big weekend. Wander through local stalls featuring handmade craft, jewellery, clothing, crystals and opal, photography, and art, while enjoying delicious food, drinks, and laid‑back live music. It’s the perfect place to recover, reconnect, and soak up the last of the festival atmosphere with your friends, family, and community.

We’re proud to present an exhibition dedicated to celebrating queer stories, identity, and artistic expression. This showcase invites artists from all backgrounds — queer artists and allies alike — to share work that reflects, supports, or connects with the LGBTQIA+ community. This exhibition is about visibility, voice, and the power of creative storytelling. It’s a space where our community can see itself reflected, uplifted, and celebrated.
