Angel Baby is a character created through an ongoing collaboration between queer performance artist Adonis and photographer Tanja Bruckner.
Photographed at an iconic pink house on Enmore Road, Angel Baby casts Adonis as a queer deity of desire — part Cupid, part lust goddess, part seductress. Drawing on mythology, camp and fantasy, the work plays with familiar symbols of romance and pop culture.
Sweet, seductive and a little dangerous, Angel Baby creates its own mythology of love, lust and queer desire.
The original series was for UK's Sister Magazine and was styled by Nikita Majajas & Matt Stegh, Hair and Make up By Sophie Roberts and Matt Hornby
